Becca's 1/28 and 1/29

1/28:
Exercise - 30 minutes of a Jillian Michaels workout. It was a 45 minute workout that I crapped out on because my shoulder started hurting.  She was emphasizing very heavily on punching. I might do it again and just skip the punching bits.  I stopped when she started doing up downs. 

ALSO! 1/2 mile walk in 30 minutes.  I walked up to meet the kids halfway home and then walked them home.  And I made it a brisk walk.

Dinner was chefs salad - so good food.  And then I topped it off with an drumstick ice cream cone.


1/29: 

Exercise - first day of PT for my shoulder so did those exercises.  Don't plan on doing anything more.  Can't walk up to meet the kids today because I have to make up my appt time with work.  Might take a little walk after work.

Bad food - I had 2 chocolate chip cookies with my lunch.

I kept dreaming last night that I weighed 271 pounds and I was happy about it - which makes me sad.  That would be a gain of 35 pounds from where I'm at right now. Why would I be happy about that? Stupid dreams. First thing I did this morning is weigh myself.  I'm still not down, but haven't gone up either so....

Ray's F&E 1/27 & 1/28

I have done so well both days. I have not cheated and stayed within my one serving of whole wheat each day. I worked out today not hard. Just like 30 minutes of walking on the treadmill and some weights. And yesterday I didn't work out. Going to make a big trip to the gym tomorrow.

I am setting a goal to be under 230 by the end of this month. I am hoping I can do it!

Jan.27-April

Breakfast: Cookies
Snack: More cookies
Lunch: Ramen
Snack: More Cookies
Dinner: Too much Red Baron pizza, and some cookies.

I am officially banned from making cookies.

3 days NO soda. So there is something.

No exercise, cause I am LAZY.

Night time snacking.

So, I can make it ALL day on my diet, any diet.
But around dinner time, and during the evening hours I get ravenous. I want to eat everything in sight. Having an extra drink, or healthy snack helps for a little while, but all I can think about it is eating.
So, what do you do to get through the night?

I am going to try to start having my workouts later, like after dinner, so I am not as tempted. But I am looking for some other ideas.

Jan. 26-April

Breakfast- Salmon
Snack- Handful baby carrots and cashews
Snack- Orange
Dinner- Salmon, broccoli and cauliflower.

Second day of NO soda! I hate everyone and my head is killing me.

NO workout today, as a reward for not cheating and also cause Tuesday is Jay's school day and I am by myself with the kids ALL day.

***Update- I made a batch of cookies with Clark, and had a few, oh and some cookie dough. I don't feel as bad cause at least I kept on my diet all day.***

Exercise - grocery shopping (I count it cause I go through the store quickly, park very far from the door, and then carry as many overstuffed bags inside as I can)

Ray's F&E 1/25/10

Breakfast:
diet soda

Lunch:
a bowl of chicken salad (chicken, low cal mayo, celery, green onions, and grapes)

Dinner:
South Beach Pizza
Mixed veggies in a garlic sauce

Snack:
I had a bunch of those fat free animal crackers (you know the ones that come in that huge bag for like $3?). Its not on my diet but I had to wait an hour before driving after going to the dentist. So I went and hung out at the walmart across the street and I was super hungry.

No exercise. I am going to spinning class tomorrow though. I will work extra hard to make up for not going to today.

I'm a slacker....

I haven't been doing much of anything and doing a bit of eating too much... I was using the accident as an excuse and being a bit of a baby.  I did work out today using an ab burn workout found on video on demand.  The workout was supposed to be done standing the whole time, but it lied.  There was some side twist things, reverse pushups, and a mountain climb thing that hurt the crap out of my shoulder. 

Ok, enough whining.  For now...might start up again tomorrow. I'm going to try to get through all the workouts they have on their list this month. Most of the workouts are 10 minutes, again, they're liars - more like 15.  Either way, shouldn't be too hard...

The bad I ate today: 2 oreos and dinner was belgian waffles with whip cream (lite) and strawberries

hello my name is Kara

I am beginning my diet tomorrow, so I would like to rejoin. I have been poor since Christmas, so I could not afford diet food. So not point writing down all the fatty, sugary slop I have eaten.

Don't remember forgetting to write down my foods for the 12th but apparently I did.  Don't remember all that I ate, but I know it wasn't too bad.  I haven't been doing to badly.  And I do remember that I'm doing the Wii for 15 minutes during my morning break.  Its just the regular sports training game, don't have a Wii Fit yet.  Not sure if I want to pay that much....

1/13

Skipped breakfast on accident.  Had to get ready to go to NE Portland (1 hour drive) to get my new work computer.  Then I got rear ended.  To calm myself down and to help combat the dizziness (my body doesn't like huge rushes of adrenaline, I faint) I got a GIANT Pepsi and a turkey bacon avacado sandwich.  Dinner was spaghetti.  Snack was 1 red vine and a handful of chocolate chips.  No exercise, too sore.

1/14

Breakfast - Granola cereal and yogurt
Lunch - BBQ pork ribs, macaroni salad, handful potato chips
Dinner - rotissire chicken, rissoto (from the box), steamed broccoli

Snacks - couple mini peanut butter cups, cheezits

Drinks - water, cranraspberry juice

Exercise - Maybe some small walks later, still pretty sore.  Did a couple walks, and 15 minutes on the Wii.  I hurt bad...

Workout: Only a 1 mile slow jog, I am still getting the worst headaches.

I already cheat for today...BUT
I walked 4.5 miles with the boys (pushing them in the stroller) AWESOME workout.

I am going to take a break from working out tomorrow so I am going to TRY really hard not to cheat.

I'M BAAAAAAAAAAACK!

Alright my fellow fatties. I am back. I am ready to start again. I have been having such a hard time starting over, and getting any motivation to do anything. I really hate being fat, but I hate dieting and exercising just as much. Sorry...

I am starting my Dad's Detox Diet tomorrow (I have been doing it off and on for the last week). Since I really hate posting what I eat, and most of the time I lie anyway (I don't add everything I eat), and since I want to concentrate more on my running and working out... I am just going to put whether I cheated or not for that day. I will still post my work outs for that day. And also weigh ins every week. Cool???

So today. Jan. 11

Totally cheated. Clark wanted "mooins" which translates to muffins for breakfast.
Workout- 1 mile jogging. I only had to stop once. 20 minutes.

Also, I decided not to get off soda. I will just limit it to one can a day. I NEED it.

1/10:
Breakfast - Skipped, slept in

Lunch - Crispy chicken salad

Dinner - Chicken cachattorie with rice

Drinks - 1 soda (caffiene), water, 1 glass cran raspberry juice

Exercise - couple walks with Yoda, running around the house all day


1/11:
Breakfast - Yogurt with granola cereal

Lunch - Chicken salad sandwhich, handful sour cream and onion ruffles

Dinner - Chicken salad with ritz crackers, beef jerky, handful cashews, 3 malt balls, 1 almond rocca, 1 all natural fruit rollup

Drinks - Coffee with low fat creamer, water

Exercise -  I was going to do some Wii - but I didn't... spent all evening looking at houses for sale...

Lunch - 1 pizza hot pocket (needed something quick so I could do dishes and laundry on my lunch break)

Dinner - 1 Chicken chimichanga

Drinks - Coffee with creamer, water, 3 shots of rum, 1 7up and vodka.

Exercise - 4 small walks with the dog.

Breakfast - Fruit cocktail

Lunch - Chicken salad sandwiches (chicken salad was from Costco - YUUMM!!!!!)

Dinner - Orange chicken

Snacks - Handful of cashews, 1 natural cherry fruit rollup

Drinks - Coffee with creamer, 1 pepsi, water

Exercise - 4 short walks with Yoda.

Ray's F&E 1/9

Sorry I haven't posted the last few days. I can't remember what I ate but I have stuck to my diet. I am still sick and I've had a migraine two days in a row. I know its no excuse for not posting. But I am using it anyway.


Breakfast-
Lower Sugar Oatmeal- 2 packets

Lunch-
nothing, breakfast was late.

Snack-
Sugar free pudding


Dinner-
Chicken and pepper kabobs w/ brown rice

I'll probably have sugar free cocoa or a sugar free jell-o if I get really hungry later tonight.

Exercise- none, I am going back to the gym Monday for sure!

April 1.6

Breakfast: Cookies and milk
Lunch: Ramen Noodles
Snack: Tootie Frooties, a small bowl with no milk.
Dinner: Salmon and a small serving of plain noodles.

No workout. I have had a MAJOR headache for the past 4 days, nothing will make it go away (hence the not sticking to my diet). I also had one soda to see if it wold help, it did NOT.

I am going to try doing my diet again tomorrow. And no soda. I am also going to try not to die from this headache.

Ray's F&E 1/06

Breakfast:
Nothing, I took cold meds and it made me have a stomach ache.

Lunch:
Turkey Noodle soup (noodles are not on my diet). I hadn't eaten anything in 4 days so I sorta over did it.

Dinner:
3 pieces of 11 grain bread (two many servings of carbs. I suck)


I had tons of diet soda today. I just can't stay away. It keeps me from snacking.

No exercise. Still sick. But I am on the mend. Maybe tomorrow?

Becca 1/6 F&E

Breakfast - Skipped, that was an accident I swear.  I got talking to my mom and forgot to eat food...hm, diet plan?

Lunch - Healthy request mexican chicken soup, ritz crackers

Dinner - Beef stew with 3 homemade rolls (they're small)

Drinks - Water, coffee with fat free creamer (side note: Peppermint truffle coffee, does NOT taste good...smells GREAT, tastes not so great).

Exercise:  Gonna do some yoga later...before I eat my froyo

I weighed in this morning - 236...YAY!

wendy's chilli w/cheese and onions
jr frosty (my throat was so sore I needed it)

no exercise. I am still sick but I am finally on the mend. I am hoping to go to spin class tomorrow.

I didn't start my diet today, we didn't have time to go grocery shopping yesterday so we had no food.

I ate a lot, and gave myself a proper send off... not that I needed it I ate a ton over the holidays.

Ray's F&E 01/04/10

I am way sick so I didn't really eat anything at set times. I had a couple of cups of OJ. Cause I am convinced it cures sore throats. Then I had a mug of sugar free hot chocolate. Then for dinner some Lower Sugar Oatmeal. It was maple and brown sugar and it has only 4 sugars. Pretty awesome.

No exercise because I couldn't even move today.

Becca 1-4-10

Breakfast - Scrambled eggs (2), 1 slice bacon, 1 slice honey wheat toast

Lunch - something but I don't remember...

Dinner - Pork loin, rissoto (from the box, only 140 calories), peas

Snack - Small cinnamon roll, large orange

Drinks today - 2 cups coffee with fat free creamer, cran raspberry juice, water

Exercise - nodda

Okay the holidays are done and so is our break. We're back to regular food journal posting, weekly weigh ins, and exercising! Let's start by posting our weigh ins for the week. Also let's reset some goals. Let's try to work harder sticking to our diets this time too. No excuses!
